We Leave Our East Bay Plumbing & Sewer Job Sites Looking Like We Were Never There

Why Cleanup Is More Than Just An Afterthought At Avalon Rooter.

We’re not going to sugarcoat it…plumbing and sewer work is MESSY.  Just accessing your pipes, sewer line, or water heater can create a HUGE mess, and a lot of plumbers leave cleanup and aesthetic repairs to YOU.  That’s not what we’re about, so we insist on leaving our East Bay job sites cleaner than we found them.

We know that you had a new sewer line installed, but the next person who visits your home should have no idea.  Because when we leave your home, we want it to look like we were never there….

Basic Cleanup = Basic COURTESY

Integrity is at the heart of what we do, and we consider cleaning up after yourself to be a basic courtesy.  You wouldn’t go to a friend or relative’s home and make a giant mess, only to leave without cleaning up.  That’s why we insist on never doing that to YOU.

For ongoing projects, we make a point of cleaning up as much as we can at the end of each day, so your day-to-day life is disrupted as little as possible.

At the end of your project, we make sure everything is put back EXACTLY where it was, and nothing is left in worse condition than when we arrived. We’ve replanted bushes, swept up driveways, matched up paint jobs, and SO much more just to make sure everything was PERFECTLY in order.

We Take Precautions To Avoid Making A Mess In The First Place

The easiest messes to clean up are the ones that never happen in the first place. That’s why our technicians take extreme precautions when working in your home and on your property.

Our precision workmanship means mistakes are rare, and we will usually catch them before they become serious.  That’s because our technicians know to take the time and care to do the job right the first time.

We also insist all of our techs wear head-to-toe protective gear in all situations that call for it. We will even suit up to enter your home in some cases, to prevent ANY chance of dirtying your living space.

We Work With Other Trusted Contractors To Repair Concrete, Drywall, And Anything Else We Had To Cut Through In The Process

Sometimes cutting through a wall or drilling into concrete is the ONLY way to access your plumbing or sewer system.  We don’t decide where builders and city planners lay the pipes, so we are subject to their whims as much as you.

That said, we can do our part to make sure the finished product looks as beautiful as it did before. Sometimes that means hiring a local concrete specialist to replace a damaged driveway. Other times, it means contacting our partner in the drywall business to fix a wall we had to break through.

We even once replanted a homeowner’s azalea bushes, and we have spent multiple days at Home Depot searching for just the right part or an EXACT paint match.  This may seem like overkill, but it’s all in a day’s work for the East Bay plumber who cares enough to clean up.
