Questions?

Here Are Our Sewer Services FAQs.

Will I Be Able To Use Our Bathroom During Sewer Work?

The answer depends on what we’re doing. When it comes to sewer line replacement, we ask that you do not allow any water to go down your drains between the hours of 8 AM and 4:30 PM. This enables our technicians to have a safe and sanitary work environment, so they can properly work on your sewer.

That being said, you can still use water for drinking and cooking, as long as none goes down the drain. When the crew is done for the day, you can resume using your water.

What Is Sludge?

Sludge is a buildup of organic material that collects on the inside of your pipes. It will cause a choking point that will eventually block any water from flowing through the pipes, leading to a clogged drain.

Why Does Sludge Form In My Sewer?

If ANY organic material has time to sit and collect in your sewer, drain, or pipes, sludge will begin to form. It’s not necessarily a sign of poor sewer health, but it does mean you should clean your drains.

How Can I Prevent Sludge Buildup & Clogged Drains?

There is no guaranteed way to never encounter sludge buildup, but there are some ways to drastically reduce the likelihood of clogged drains. Here are a few of them:

  • Always run cold water down the drain, when using the garbage disposal, and use a drain strainer if you do not have a garbage disposal when cooking.
  • Avoid pouring grease or oil down the drain.
  • Briefly rinse sink and run hot water down your drain after washing dishes to prevent grease buildup.
  • Clear drain stoppers in all showers and bathtubs regularly.

How Long Is Your Warranty For Sewer Replacements?

Our warranty is for 10 years on any sewer pipes we replace and are buried in the ground.

What Does The Warranty Cover?

Our warranty covers all of the connection points and materials we install. If any problem arises with the pipes we have installed, we will come back and perform all necessary repairs at no cost to you.

Does The Warranty Stay With The Home If I Sell It?

Yes, the warranty stays with the home for the duration of the 10-year timeframe even if the home changes owners.

Do You Charge A Fee For Estimates?

No, we do not charge a fee for estimates, unless it requires additional work to diagnose the issue, such as cutting open a wall to examine the pipes behind them. Also, we will ALWAYS inform you of any cost before we begin work, either way.
